picking up a Remington bronze
Frederic Remington is one of America's greatest artists and his paintings and bronze sculptures define the way we see the Old West. Recently we were given the job of crating and shipping Frederic Remington's most iconic works, Coming Through The Rye (1902) from a museum to a private collector. With dimensions of 29" X 30" and weighing a couple of hundred pounds, this original bronze sculpture needed to be packed carefully and shipped safely.
Remington's attention to detail is a hallmark of his work, and we made sure delicate features like the reins and six-guns were protected. The horses have only 6 of 16 legs on the ground, so supporting them got special attention.
That attention to detail is why Goodman Packing & Shipping got the job. When it comes to crating and packing valuable artworks, we're leaders in the field and are called by leading galleries, museums and collectors to ship sculptures, paintings and other art objects. At Box Brothers Los Angeles, we're proud of the work we do. Come in to our Los Feliz, Atwater Village or Hollywood
store and we'll be glad to offer you that same level of service.
